Non-essential but still a worthwhile episode.
The first episode of 1985 finds Crockett and Tubbs using some teens who are involved with a drug deal to get to the bigger fish. Crockett has some great character moments in this episode. His concern for one of teens is exhibited several times during the episode and shows that Crockett truly cared about his job and the people it effected.
The episode, like many others, features a down beat ending. As bright as "Miami Vice" was visually these dark endings would always act as an interesting contrast.
