An essential episode based solely on the character work.
The episode finds two cases intersecting. Crockett and Tubbs are working on a lead provided by Noogie, and Gina and Trudie are posing as working girls to infiltrate a high level sex-trade opeartion.
Crockett displays his loyalty to the job and to his informants when he refuses to give up one of his sources. He ends up spending time in jail for contempt before the informant outs himself.
At the same time Gina navigates the skin trade. He loyalty is on display as well as she goes to great lengths to prove that she's a working girl.
There is an interesting appearance from Burt Young where he is working an accent that just doesn't work and a young Michael Madsen is seen more than he is heard.
