Originally broadcast as "Calderone's Demise", "Calderone's Return Part II" picks up shortly after the end of the previous episode. Crockett and Tubbs grill the decoy assassin as to the actual whereabouts of Calderone in the Bahamas. After initial resistance he gives up the location.
Crockett and Tubbs are instructed to head to the Bahamas on a surveillance mission only. A travel montage in Crockett's speed boat set to Russ Ballards "Voices" shows the trip to the Bahamas and leads up to the opening titles.
The opening titles here are noteworthy for two reasons. First they include the proper version of Jan Hammer's theme. And second the Atlantis Condominium seen in the last episode is now included.
Once in the Bahamas Crockett goes to work posing as the assassin. No one knows what the assassin looked like and he is due payment for completing all of the names on the hit list. A newspaper story is published reporting Crockett's death as a way to prove that the task was completed.
At the same time Tubbs is working a mysterious woman named Angelina who has connections to Calderone. Posing as an art dealer he expresses interest in her work. During the episodes Tubbs and Angelina make a connection. After sleeping together Tubbs discovers that Angelina is Calderone's daughter.
Crockett plays hardball with one of Calderone's men when accepting payment. He states that if he knew that Crockett was a cop the rate would be different. He demands an additional $30,000 delivered by Calderone himself. Crockett is quickly made though and an attempt is made on his and Tubbs' lives.
They survive and Tubbs reveals to Crockett that Calderone is going to be at a masquerade with the intention of meeting his daughter's new friend. And although they are in costume they are recognized. Crockett is taken by Calderone's men and Tubbs flees with Angelina.
On the beach he tells her the truth about her father and demands to know his location. Angelina denys that her father is a criminal but finally gives up his location when she learns of the death Of Tubbs' brother.
After a brief showdown at Calderone's residence a fire fight erupts and Crockett kills Calderone. This then leads to a montage that extends into the closing credits set to Tina Turner's "What's Love Got to do With it".
