Crockett and Tubbs pose as drug dealers to expose a corrupt law enforcement agent. Richard Jenkins plays the DEA agent who recruits them and Glenn Frey appears as airplane pilot and professional smuggler Jimmy. Frey's song "Smuggler's Blues" is featured multiple times during the episode.
Tubbs being interrogated by Colombian police and a "ticking bomb" climax are two of the stand out sequences in this episode.
The episode is also noteworthy for a behind the scenes participant. It was written by Miguel Piñero who appeared as Calderone earlier in the season.
